My wife found this 2 drills for a awesome price after black Friday but I don't know which one to keep! I've heard a lot good reviews about then both but which one do you think will be the better one? The black & Decker has a nice case and I know the craftsman has more accessories! I usually do small work around the house. Tough decision!

I just bought a cordless craftsman power drill (17191) am noticing a flash of light coming from the motor at the back of the drill. There is a bright flash when I fully press and let go of the trigger. And while I have the drill fully engaged there is a small constant source of light. I don't know much about motors so for all I know this could be normal...or not.

I need to buy my husband a cordless drill for Christmas and I don't know which one to get. I was looking at a Craftsman that says it is 19.2 volt and then a Black and Decker that is 14.2 volts - which one is better. the Craftsman is cheaper (its on sale)

I have a 12 - 14.4v craftsman cordless drill battery charger. I would like to know what the white wire inside the charger would be used for. the red=positive, black= negitive, but i am not sure what i should connect it to? It is a quick charger. i think i should mention that. thank you
The battery cut out? does the stop the battery from chargeing? i know that the lower the amp charging the deeper the charge. that is that i am chooting for it is actually a 2.x amp output at least. its a quick charger. should i connect the white wire at all? and just guess when its charged? or would it go to the positive so show full charge?

I just finished redoing my porch and went through a five pack of Dewalt double ended number two bits using a Craftsman profesional cordless drill,Now i drove about 200 three inch screws with no pilot holes.I guess my question is are there any superior bits for this kind of thing because once a bit spins in a screw its pretty much done with.
Thanks.

Years ago I bought a Craftsman Professional corded 1/2" chuck drill. It was almost like a cordless drill with a cord instead of with batteries. What I mean is that there was a High and Low speed switch on the top of it. When I needed to drive lag screws into a post, that sucker did it with ease. It was really wonderful. I don't remember if the tool got lost or broken.
I can't find a drill that features this anywhere today. Does anybody have any ideas? Craftsman does not appear to carry that drill any more, as if it was a limited edition or something. I just can't believe that the High/Low speed switch (not a variable speed trigger, but a switch that changes the torque abaility) isn't found on any drill that is more than 6 amps. That feature is so amazing.

craftsman has a lifetime warranty, any problems, bring it in to kmart/sears and they'll replace it.
I have an old 14.4v craftsman drill that finally kicked the bucket, but I don't think they make them any more. If I took that dead into kmart, would they upgrade me to a 19v or downgrade me to a 12v?
