I want to get a cordless drill/driver to use in the field, so I want it to be reliable and not too expensive, what parameters I should take in consideration?
My husband wants a cordless "impact gun" for Christmas. He wants to be able to loosen nuts and bolts on his mustang project car. He also wants to use it like a normal cordless drill/driver, to finish our basement.
When I search for "impact gun"... I only find an "impact wrench", which seems to use socket attachments. Or an "impact driver", which uses drill and screw bits.
Is there an impact tool that can be used as a wrench AND a driver? Are there attachments that can convert the tool for different functions?
I need something that will be pretty strong and reliable, but i wont use it too much, so i dont need drills from companies like DeWalt and Black and Decker...
Is this an OK drill?:http://cgi.ebay.com/Maxsuma-HI-TORQUE-18V-Volt-Cordless-DRILL-DRIVER_W0QQitemZ200268031003QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item200268031003&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1199|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A0|293%3A1|294%3A50
Thanks for the fast replies. I dont care if it is cordless or not because i actually want a drill with a cord(i feel it will be more reliable, energy wise). Please if there is a cheap reliable drill, please post a link. thank you so much.
I am looking for a power drill/driver.
As small and powerful as possible.
Cordless too from -60 dollars.
One that can drill through 2 inches of oak wood.
Which is a better tool set to buy. Both are really good and i would buy the newest of both and brand new, the milwaukee red lithium or RIDGID because RIDGID stands up to their name and have extremely good service warentees, but milwaukees newest red lithium are really nice. Need help. Would buy a kit with impact driver, drill/driver, sawzaw worklight.18volt lithium ion.
I am shopping for a cord (or cordless) Drill/Driver. What should I use to consider the right equipment for household use?
(1) How much voltage should I be considering?
(2) How much wattage?
(3) How much rpm ?
(4) Other advice?
(5) I am considering Skil and DeWalt, do you recommend one over another?
Thanks
I can't seam to fine the one for this drill. it has a rechargable battery on it but i dont have the charger. it is a Master Mechanic veriable speed 12V VSR Cordless Drill/Driver.
I'm looking at buying a new drill/driver set and noticed Hitachi now uses a slide style battery on some drill models. I'm concerned about compatibility with products they introduce in the future.
