My dad has a dewalt cordless drill but i dont know if I can use it to drill through rock. Would any drill work as long as I had the right size and right drill bit for the job? All I need to do it drill a small hole in a rock so I can put a bolt anker through the rock so I can rig my rope for repelling into the rest of the cave.

job and recharging blew the charger. Turned out the homeowner had 220v in a 110v outlet. At any rate the large resistor in the charging station, center and closest to the LED blew. Cannot read the color bands. Can anyone help me out....please. Thanks in advance!
Would someone simply remove the 4 screws from their charger and look at the color bands on the resistor for me. Then I can go to Radio Shack and get one for 99 cents.

Im looking to add a all in one hammer drill-driver to my tool collection. I just wanted some recommendations on some cordless models that are cost friendly and do a great job. Thanks!

I'm working on my boyfriend's one-year-anniversary present and he needs a cordless drill.
- He builds bikes as his 2nd job
- It needs to be versatile but good quality?
- Under 0, please :)
Brands, builds, I'll take anything you got.

I want to get my mom a cordless drill for Christmas and I know nothing about them. She does a lot of building jobs here at hom, usually going through nothing bigger than a 4 x 4.
Will this drill do the job?

Its a GREAT deal and I am going shopping tomorrow so I need to know. Thanks :)
I'm only 16, and the 4 things I am getting her come to 121 dollars. There is NO way I can spend 138 dollars on one gift.

Hey guys I just started a job being a property manager and as of now I have a corded drill, some of the houses I go to do not have electricity. I do not know much about drills so I am hopping you can help me out.
I am looking at two drills right now a DC720 and a DCD950, I will be using for regular things but I guess I will choose the one with more power and better performance. Here are the links if you don't know them:
DC720- http://www.dewalt.com/us/products/tool_detail.asp?productID=16338

I have a cave that Im trying to rig drops in and I was curious as to if I could use a standard cordless dewalt drill to drill a 2-3in deep hole in limestone. I usually drill the holes then hammer the bolts in with the anchor. Can I use a standard dewalt cordless drill for this job? How long you think the job will take to drill a hole that deep in that type of rock with that sorta drill? What kinda bit do I need?
I dont destroy caves i make them accessible
